This scheme has been advanced to offer financial help to students registered in higher education programs. Currently, MCB Bank has joined with Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) and offers personal student loans to all MBA and Executive MBA students at the University. This loan will be given to the MBA students from all universities but the last decision will be made by NUML. At least 50% marks or equitant GPA is required to apply. The maximum amount shall be 1 million.

MCB Student Personal Loan General Criteria
Generally, the student who meets the following criteria will be eligible for the loan:
1. Be a citizen of Pakistan.
2. You have obtained at least 50% grades (or equivalent) in the last public exam (that is, other than admission tests, for example, GMAT, SAT, LMAT, etc.) The same must be confirmed by LUMS in writing.
3. You must have a valid admission and have provided acceptance of admission to LUMS. Confirmation of completed admission must be provided by LUMS in writing.
4. 80:20 maximum of admission only, registration, tuition, campus residency and any other part / head / item of fees that student must pay in advance to LUMS
Also, the loan will not cover any amount that is repayable to the student later.
