Government Punjab has started solar panel scheme for poor people who use 300 unit of electricity. if you are belong to province of Punjab Pakistan then you are eligible to apply for this scheme. government of Punjab has been allocated 2 billion and 60 crore rupees for the Solar Panel scheme.
Government of Punjab has announced to give solar panels to 50 thousand people
Under the Solar Panel Scheme, the solar system and all the accessories used in the solar panel will be provided to the people. such as battery and inverter.
Eligibility criteria
- Candidate should be a resident of Punjab province.
- Candidate must be at least 18 years of age.
- Candidate will pay 25% advance payment.
- Photocopy of electricity bill and identity card will be taken from the candidate.
- Candidate must have personal space to install solar panel.
The Punjab government has announced that people consuming less than 300 units of electricity can install 1KV or 2KV or 3KV solar systems. 25% advance payment of the solar system has to be paid and the remaining money has to be returned to the bank with monthly installments.
It has been informed by Punjab Government that Bank of Punjab will receive applications for solar panels and Bank of Punjab will provide solar panels to people on easy terms. The interest payment under the solar panel scheme will be paid by the Punjab government.

How to apply CM Punjab solar panel scheme?
After next few days Govt of Punjab will start registration, eligible candidates will submit applications for solar panel scheme. Government of Punjab will start providing solar panels within one month after submission of application.
