Don’t limit yourself and sign up as an Amazon seller today. This is a great opportunity for Pakistan to trade across the border in the global market through Amazon.
Choose the appropriate plan of your choice, enter your email and password for your seller account. Next you click on the “Create a new account” option. If you have an old / existing account, you can log in with it or create a new one.
OTP verification
You will then have the option to enter the One Time Password (OTP) generated by Amazon which will be sent to the e-mail address you provided earlier, this is used to verify your email. Then click the “Create Your Amazon Account” button.
Business location and Business type
The next step is to share your personal details and this is a very important step. Make sure you fill in the options carefully.
1. Business location
The place of business is the country where your business will operate. Amazon will confirm this later, so it is important to provide authentic information. If you do not have a bank account or residence in a country that allows Amazon to do business, you cannot choose Pakistan as your place of business.
2. Business type
Here you will be asked to choose your business from the options given below:
· Publicly owned business
· State-owned business
· Privately-owned business
· Charity
· None, I am an individual
3. Your full name
It must be accurate (to be authentic) to resist any problem.
Next click on the button that says “Agree and Continue”. This will take you to the next step.
Step 1 – Personal Information
To complete the Amazon Seller account registration, you will need to provide some personal details, including the most important identification form (either your own passport number or your driver’s license) and your contact number. Provide your Pakistani phone and verify the OPT code.
Click ‘Next’ to proceed.
Step 2 – Select Marketplace
After completing the ‘Individual Information’ section, check the box below Marketplace and select the place where you want to sell your product. This refers to the location of the Amazon store (such as Amazon.ca, Amazon.co.uk, etc.).
Click ‘Next’ to proceed.
Step 3 – Verification through billing information
Your credit card information must be accurate, as Amazon will ask you to enter the number and expiration date of one of your credit cards.
Paste the address you mentioned earlier and click ‘Next’ to go to the next step.
Step 4 – Information for Store/Product(s)
Completing Step 3, which is the verification step, will lead you to a few questions about your Amazon Store and the products you sell.
You must state:
· The name of your Amazon store.
· Do you have UPC codes for your products?
· Are you the manufacturer and / or brand owner of the product (s) you sell on Amazon?
· Do you own a registered trademark for your product?
Click ‘Next’ to proceed.
Step 5 – Address Validation by Amazon
After completing the previous steps and verifying your information, you will be asked to verify the business address (provided in the options above).
The Address Verification page will ask you to confirm the special code that Amazon Postcard will send to the address you specified. Click “Confirm” to proceed. (This may take up to 7 days).
After receiving the postcard, enter the provided code in the “Enter code below” field and right-click “Next” to complete the verification process.
After confirmation, your registration will be processed.
