Zarai Taraqiati bank loan scheme -ZTBL Bank Kissan Dost Scheme

With a concessional profit margin Kissan Dost Scheme (KDS) program has been launched to sponsor loans for the production of crops (seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, etc.). The funding would be for one season’s harvest, that is, Rabi or Kharif. Individuals related to agriculture business can apply for this loan. The loan process is very simple and Rapid-natured.

Kissan Dost Scheme Terms & Conditions

1.      Eligibility:All new borrowers of production loans under the Agricultural Credit can be financed under the scheme. However, old borrowers with a good record can also borrow under the plan after the full closing of the previous loan.

2.      Documents Required:       CNIC Copy, Loan Case File, Agri.Pass Book/Fard Jamabandi,    2 recent photographs

3.      Maximum Loan Limit:      Rs.0.100 million per borrower/party.

4.      Collateral: Tangible properties owned by the borrowers as per policy of the Bank.

5.      Cost of Credit:       As per Bank’s rule

6.                  Refund schedule:Loans disbursed for wheat and other Rabi crops from October 1 to December 31 would be recoverable on June 15 and loans disbursed from January 1 to March 31 would be recoverable on September 15 with a grace period of one month.

a.      Loans disbursed for cotton, rice and other crops from Kharif from April 1 to June 30 would be recoverable on December 15 and loans disbursed from July 1 to September 30 would be recoverable on March 15 with a one month grace period.

b.      The loans disbursed for the sugarcane harvest would be recoverable in two semi-annual installments on January 15 and April 15.

c.       The loans for inputs disbursed for working capital for the orchard during the Rabi season, that is, from October 1 to March 31, would be recoverable in a single installment on January 15 and the loans for similar inputs disbursed For the working capital for the orchard during the Kharif season, that is, from April 1 to September 30, they would be recoverable on July 15.

7.      Rate of Mark Up: Special rate of markup is applicable as notified by the Bank.

8.      Monitoring: Strict monitoring is exercised by ensuring checking of utilization by the MCO in 100% cases and sample checking of utilization by the Manager, Zonal Manager (Recovery) and Internal Auditors of the Bank.
