The Tractor Scheme is designed to make it easier for the country’s small farmers to obtain loans for the purchase of a tractor to develop and cultivate agricultural land. The scheme would primarily address the needs of farmers and provide tractor financing for land development to eligible farmers who wish to avail themselves of the loan.
The product is allowed for a period of up to 5 years according to the specific purposes and useful life of the asset. The amortization period must not exceed the useful life of the asset. The amortization period must not exceed the useful life of the Financed Asset. The frequency of repayment of the financing is based on the repayment capacity of the borrower / economic cycle.
